Introduction
My project surrounds the War of Currents and the popular question, who was the better inventor? My purpose of this project is to finally end the debate of many years on who was the better inventor and come to the conclusion on which inventor was the most influential to modern day. Learning about Tesla vs Edison can benefit the future by figuring out which historical inventions modern day has made the most out of. My project will cover from 1847 to Modern Day.
Who was the better inventor? This is a common question asked when discussing Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison. Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor and scientist, has affected the modern day tremendously. Meanwhile, Thomas Edison was an American inventor who invented the light bulb. Tesla has an eidetic memory, meaning he could remember and recite words and images extremely well. This allowed him to visualize the design of 3D images accurately. In contrast to Tesla, Edison was more of a scatter-brained tinkerer. The two scientists are very different, yet commonly compared because of their intellectual ability. In my project, I will be comparing and contrasting their research and determining which is the better inventor.
