After much research, I can conclude that, having won the Current War, Nikola Tesla is the greater inventor. Though the light bulb and photograph were some of Edison’s most successful inventions, others were working with similar ideas. “If he hadn’t invented them, others would have,” DeGraaf told Live Science (Ghose, 2020). Tesla laid the foundations of modern day communication and spent much of his time working on a system to wirelessly transmit voices and images. This led him to be named the father of radio, telephone, cell phones, and television. The present day would truly not be the same without his brilliant inventions.
