In conclusion, the fast fashion industry is made up of countless brands all over the world who produce cheaply made products very quickly in order to make a larger profit. These brands neglect their garment workers and force them to work in unsuitable living conditions. The workers are exposed to numerous harmful chemicals while making the garments, these chemicals eventually make their way into the environment also, damaging the land and water along the way. Furthermore, you can cut ties with the fast fashion industry by thrifting, swapping clothes with a friend or simply not purchasing a new article of clothing from a fast fashion brand. The fast fashion industry has taken a toll on society and it is only going to get worse if we do not change the whole fashion industry.
