My topic is about an Indian holiday called, Raksha Bandman, or Rakhi. It is a holiday that celebrates the union between a brother and a sister.

This year, the holiday is on August 22, 2021

How does learning about historical events help shape the future?

I think that even though it is an Indian holiday, it should be celebrated worldwide because it is a way to bring your siblings closer together. It spreads a lot of happiness.

Indian mythology/Indian stories of how it came to be an important part of the country

What is your purpose for researching this topic?

My purpose was to learn more about the holiday and my country, and know the things they do besides the love between the brother and the sister.
