Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) provides intensive, targeted instruction and support to small groups of students during the school day to help them to grow in reading accuracy, fluency, and comprehension. The program uses leveled texts, which increase in difficulty gradually, while incorporating phonics, vocabulary, and writing instruction. This program allows students to practice reading and supplement their learning in the classroom.
Students are invited to participate in LLI based on benchmark assessments and classroom teacher observations.
You can learn more about LLI at the Fountas and Pinnell website here.
