Missing/Late Work Policy 5th Grade Science
Missing work must be turned in within 3 days from the turn-in date. After this period, the grade will be reduced by 50%. If it is not turned in 5 days past the turn-in date, the work will no longer be accepted and will be an automatic 0.
Exceptions apply for absences, as they are given additional days to complete the work.
Missing LabLearner Investigation
LabLearner books are typically collected on Tuesdays or Fridays for each investigation. If they forget to submit their book, they will turn it in the next collection time. Collected dates are posted ahead of time on my website and on my classroom's homework board.
If students were absent for a part of the investigation, they are still expected to make up the missed work. I would recommend they ask a friend to copy down any missed notes.
