OVERALL GOAL
Students will build a collaborative mindset through team work and try to solve real world problems. They will focus on different roles when working in a team and participate in hands-on activities. Students will be introduced to foundational vocabulary commonly used in STEM. They will strengthen their ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills; nurturing their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills. Students in these grades will refer the Engineering Design Process while participating in problem-based projects and we will begin to make career connections in STEM.
UPDATES
Novemeber Week 3:
5th
Students will begin the Skimmer project by completing their design in Tinkercad.
6th
Students will begin the Skimmer project by completing their design in Tinkercad.
7th
Students will have a coverage assignment related to career fields in STEM due to my being out during their meeting times.
8th
Students are editing their videos to prepare for their screening day.
