Over the course of the year, we will work on the following math skills: multiplication and division within 100, addition and subtraction within 100, perimeter and area, fraction understanding and comparison, measurement and data, time, capacity, and mass.
Grading will be approximately 60% tests and quizzes, 40% homework. Homework grades will be given at the end of each week in PowerSchool, and should be close to 40% of the total grade by the end of the trimester.
Homework will be given every night, with the exception of the day of a quiz or test.
Tests will be announced in the box below and in class at least 2 school days in advance, with the goal being a week in advance. Quizzes may or may not be announced ahead of time.
