History of Golf Since 1979
In 1979 a triangular tournament organised by the OSA took place between Saints, Kingswood and Kearsney for the Hovelmeler Trophy.
Eight years later (1987) a newly formed golf team participated in the inter-schools competition.
In 1988 the school held Its first official school championship with 20 players participating.
In the same year Saints won the Inter-schools golf and Warwick Livingstone was awarded Southern Transvaal colours.
