P1-2 Class Information
Our P1-2 class has 23 pupils –15 Primary 1s and 8 Primary 2s.
Our teachers are Miss Hoskins Monday, Tuesday and Friday and Mrs Nicolson on Wednesday and Thursday.
We do lots of exciting active learning in class, which helps us to learn new skills.
We use QR codes to get onto games that we can play to help us practise our skills, in reading and maths.
We use the Read Write Inc’ reading scheme in P1-2. It focuses on learning sounds and we use our phonics skills to help us to read.
PE days are Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. We need indoor gym shoes which we can leave at school all term, and outdoor trainers for outdoor PE on a Tuesday. We need dry shoes and socks to change into on a Tuesday in case it is wet.
Homework is usually handed out on a Wednesday to be handed in on Monday. Reading books are brought home to share throughout the week.
P2-4 Class Information
We currently have 22 pupils in our class.
Ms Gemmill is our teacher all week, except on a Wednesday morning when we are taught by Mrs Mullin.
We do PE on a Tuesday afternoon and a Thursday morning. We need outdoor gym shoes for Tuesday, with a dry pair of shoes and socks to change into. We need a pair of clean, indoor gym shoes to use in the hall on a Thursday.
Homework
Homework will be set each week on a Wednesday, to be returned on a Monday.
Homework usually includes spelling, reading and maths.
Occasionally there may be topic related activities.
And Finally
We kindly ask that all children bring a water bottle to school each day.
P4-5 Class Information
We have 22 pupils in our class.
Our teacher is Mr Sinclair Monday to Thursday and Mrs Mullin on a Friday. Homework is handed out on a Wednesday and is to be handed back on Monday.
Our PE days are on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday mornings. We need outdoor gym shoes for Tuesay, with a dry pair of shoes and socks to change into. We need a pair of clean, indoor gym shoes to use in the hall on a Thursday.
P6-7 Class Information
We have 24 pupils in our class.
Our teachers are Mrs Jackson Tuesday to Friday and Mrs Mullin on a Monday.
Homework is handed out on a Wednesday and is to be handed back in on Monday.
