Our School

Welcome to the oldest school in Stirling Council Established in 1697, Port of Menteith Primary School is set amidst the beauty of the Trossachs, with the Menteith Hills at the rear of the school and the Lake of Menteith to the fore. As you further look through our website you will see how we work collaboratively with learners, staff, families and the wider community to offer rich learning experiences and opportunities for all.

The impressive school grounds encompass a football field, outdoor teaching areas, a play trail, outdoor seating, hard surface playing areas, a wildlife garden, a pond area and an amphitheatre. The school has two bright classrooms, an open area, a soft reading area, a dining hall and an office.
