Community Links

We work closely with the Gartmore School Partnership to plan and run events involving the wider community. We held a beetle drive and light lunch, inviting members of the community to join us for some games and discussion time. 

After being awarded two grants to help renovate our school field and pond area we help a celebratory event inviting all of the local community to have a look and even to try out our new equipment. We were very lucky and Karma, Lake of Menteith Hotel came along and provided light refreshments for everyone!

We have a Pupil Reporter who writes and collates a summary of what we have done over the last month and gives news of what we are going to be learning in the current month.  This magazine lets everyone know what a great part we play in the life of the community.

We were able to work with staff from the Karma Lake of Menteith Hotel including the Head Chef and General Manager. The P5-7 class made scones, brownies and rocky road to help cater for the Community Beetle drive ran by the Gartmore School Partnership in the Village Hall.
