At Brahead Primary School we pride ourselves on being a nurturing, caring and achieving school, a learning community which recognises and values the contribution which all our learners can make. At Braehead, we are working together to achieve equity for all .

Our ‘RIScK’ school values are the foundation of our school and we are very proud of our nurturing and values-based ethos which are at the heart of everything we do.

At Braehead Primary we understand the importance of our shared values. They define us and are at the heart of all we do grounding us and guiding us. When facing challenges or difficult decisions our values light the way forward. We take time to learn our values and celebrate when they are demonstrated. We aim for our values to be a light within us and we encourage our children to shine brightly. Our sparkle can inspire others!

We want the very best for your child and firmly believe that education is most effective when there are strong home/school links. With this is mind, we create opportunities for you to be involved and invite you to keep in close contact with the school.

We encourage parents/carers to be involved in school life and share their skills and experiences with our learners.

About our School..

Braehead Primary School was built in 1972. It is semi open plan with three wings radiating from a central area and administration corridor. The classes surround a spacious communal area, which is used for shared resources and activities. The early primary classes are housed in the first wing and the other two wings house the middle and upper primary classes. The Nursery is situated within the school grounds.

Our Playground

At Braehead Primary we have three large playgrounds and an ash football pitch that encourages children to play, make friends and have fun!

Class Dojo

Class Dojo is a digital classroom management tool designed to support positive behaviour, communicate more effectively with parents and build a positive whole school community ethos. It is a powerful platform for building positive homeschool links and sharing achievements in real time through web and mobile devices. It allows us as a school to connect to parents/carers through communication features, such as a feed for photos and videos from the school day and text that can be translated into more than 35 languages. Class Dojo is only available to parents and children registered at the school.
