Aselefech Evans, MSW, LSWAIC
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
About me: I am originally from Shashemene, Ethiopia. I grew up in the DC Metropolitan area, where I spent most of my childhood and adulthood. I currently reside in Seattle, WA, with my daughter and our cat, Luna Buna.
Before becoming a clinical social worker, I spent over 10 years in healthcare and public health, working with nonprofit and government organizations. I provided strategic leadership, oversight, assessments, compliance, training, facilitation, and coaching, with a focus on helping individuals and organizations address health inequities and disparities across communities and populations.
I am a published author and have dedicated 17 years of my personal and professional career advocating for the rights of adopted, trafficked, and stolen children from Ethiopia.
