Clay is a natural material found just below the surface of the ground. It is a highly malleable substance that was traditionally used to make functional items such as pots and bowls. We will be using clay to make a sculpture in the form of a creative origional monster. Because we will build all sides of the sculpture this is called sculpture in the round.
