Since returning in January, it has been a busy and enriching half term across our Primary and Infants school. We were delighted to host our Open Day, welcomed families into school for our Parent Assemblies, and celebrated a fantastic Storytelling Week that inspired creativity and a love of reading across all year groups. Careers Week was a particular highlight, with many parents kindly giving up their time to come and inspire our students. Along with Year 6 Microsoft workshops, informative Agentes Tutores Police talks for Years 5–7, a lively Life Skills = Career Skills dress-up day, and our Years 4 and 5 Parent Assembly.
There is plenty to look forward to before the Easter break, including Year 3’s visit to Suricata Adventure Park, the Years 4–7 theatre performance Un Millón de Likes, and the Year 2 Parent Assembly. Sporting highlights include Primary Cross-Country, the BISL British Girls’ Rugby fixture, the Primary Dance Show and Sports Day.
STEM Week will feature visits to the Aeronautical Museum (Reception), an aerodrome workshop (Year 4), and a Coding Workshop for Years 5 and 6, alongside a CPR workshop for Year 6. Pupils will also enjoy trips to the Ferrocarril Museum (Year 1) and Faunia (Year 6), and we will mark International Anti-Bullying Day by wearing pink in support.
At our school, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework for Infants. In Primary, we teach core subjects, English, Mathematics, and Science based on the English National Curriculum. For other subjects, we use the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), covering History, Geography, Art, Design and Technology, Health and Wellbeing, and ICT, as well as Music, PE, PSHE, and Life Competencies. We also offer Spanish, both as a native language and as a second language.

We’re excited to share our Primary Curriculum Handbook with you! This guide provides an overview of your child’s learning journey.
Our curriculum is designed to nurture each child’s potential, focusing on both academic and personal development. We aim to create a balanced, engaging environment that promotes exploration and a life long love of learning.
This handbook will help you understand our approach to the curriculum and understand the key stages of your child's development.
