Friday, JANUARY 19th Snow Day Assignments

Please be sure to complete all of the following assignments in the SNOW DAY PACKET #2

READING AND LANGUAGE ARTS:

• Please read the "Mandrills" chapter in the Green Fern Zoo Reader (pg.18-23). (Readers were sent home on Thursday)

• Write one sentence about something you learned about mandrills. Don't forget to start your sentence with a capital letter and end it with a punctuation mark.

• Complete the Noun and Verb section in your Snow Day Packet.

SPELLING:

• Please write your spelling words 2 times each on the Spelling page in your Snow Day Packet.

• Spelling Words for this week include:

7. crawl

8. because

• After writing your spelling words, use the next page in your packet to write three new sentences using this week's spelling words.

• Please be sure to use your best handwriting when writing your words and your sentences and please make sure your sentences have capital letters and punctuation!

We will postpone this spelling test for Tuesday, January 23rd. 

UNITS OF STUDY:

• Please watch the following video about the sun. Then, use the Units of Study page in your Snow Day Packet to write two things you learned about the sun. Please make sure your sentences start with a capital letter and end with a punctuation.

MATH

• Please complete Day 1 and Day 2 of the Math Review Homework. Days 3 and 4 should have already been completed on Day 3 and Day 4 as homework this week.
