Rocky, the fish, Needs a New Home!: Our class fish, Rocky, needs a new home this summer. If you are interested in having your child keep Rocky as a pet please click the link to sign up. SCRIP Dress Down Day: Wednesday, May 22nd will be a SCRIP dress down day for students that qualify. 

End of Year Portfolios: We are down to our final weeks of school! I am in the process of organizing and creating a portfolio for your child that shows all of their hard work and crafts from this school year. If you could please begin bringing in a one-inch binder I would greatly appreciate it!

Summer Workbooks: As we approach the end of the school year I will begin sending home old Skills, math and religion workbooks with extra practice pages home with your child for them to work on throughout the summer.  

ABC Countdown to Summer: Believe it or not, we are in the final countdown to summer break! An "ABC Countdown" calendar was sent home with students on Friday with a different activity for each day beginning with each letter of the alphabet. This weeks letters will be S-W Click here to view the calendar. 

*A reminder that I will send out emails when your child needs to bring something to school to participate in the fun activity*

Water Bottles: Parents, as we approach the end of the school year, please have your child bring a water bottle to school as it is getting quite warm outside. This way they have access to water while on the playground. Thank you!

STAR STUDENT: Our May STAR Student representing the Virtue of Wisdom is Lily in Ms. Everly's class! Congratulations, Lily!

Missing Work: If your child misses an assignment due to an absence, I will place an M (Missing) in FACTS for their grade until the assignment is completed upon return to school. 

Homework/Graded Work: Be sure to check your child's GREEN folder nightly to look for any assignments that they or you might need to complete. In addition, please check your child's St. Francis Folder for their classwork and grades to keep at home. Please remember to return these folders on Monday. 

SNACK: Please send your child to school each day with a snack to have during our classroom snack time.

SNACK SIGN-UP: I always like to have extra snacks in the classroom with the chance that a child might forget to pack one for the day. If you would like to help provide snacks for the classroom I have created a signup sheet. I have divided the sheet into months. If your name is under the month in which we find ourselves needing more snacks in the classroom, I will email you asking for them. Please do not send in snacks on your month unless you receive an email requesting some. Thank you so much for your generosity!
