What is a Great Learner?

To be a great learner you need to be willing to learn new things, and you can do this by staying in school. School is a great way to learn. For example, if you want to be a doctor, you need to study hard at school so you have the chance to go to university to study medicine. This will give the opportunity to help others and even save people's lives. This will be rewarding. A good learner is someone who loves life and looks for every opportunity to learn something knew. This can be about a person, a subject or just a passion. When in the company of someone they choose to try to learn more about that person. When they are interested in a subject they may research it and go above and beyond to find out more about the topic. If they have a passion they will try to learn more about it, may participate in doing their passion and will take the opportunity to share their passion with others. A great learner will study for themselves just to know more. For this reason, a good learner will always keep on learning throughout their life. Not only that, but a good learner will want to use what he or she has learned to help themselves, others and their communities. Helen Clark is an example of a great learner because after doing her studies, she became known as the first elected female Prime Minister of New Zealand. she on got there because she studed hard, learnt from her mistakes and was passionate about being a good Prime Minister. But what about Helen Keller? Well she became known as a speech writer. It may not sound so cool but, she isn't only blind but also deaf so Helen has had to work harder to acheeve her goal. Her teacher is also a miracle worker and helped her to achieve this job.

How can you be a successful Learner?

• You can focus on your studies while still going and hanging out with friends and having a good time by managing your time well.
• Being a good learner doesn't mean you know everything sometimes it means you need to listen to others in order for yourself to learn more.
• Discuss with others what have you learned
• You can show a little leadership from this by taking other peoples ideas and making it to a great idea.
• If you make a lot of mistakes try again because it is the only way your going to learn more then what you already know.
• A Great learner is not afraid to try something new things and take on a challenges.
• A Great Learner takes risks and changes
• They take on what others think and create a better and bigger idea.
