What is a Great Leader?

Queen Elizabeth was considered one of the greatest leaders of all times. She had a kind gentle nature and she was also a charismatic performer. She is a good example of a great leader because she showed all of the qualities that a great leader has. Some of the qualities that she showed was that she was passionate, she wanted the best for her country, could successfully convince people to follow her and she listened to other people. Those are the main qualities that a leader, a good leader will show.

Queen Elizabeth was also peaceful and tried to find other ways around war. When she could not avoid war with Spain, she very was smart and made good dcisions and won the war. Her country loved her and lots of plays where made in her honour ( Shakespeare was born in her time). The era in which she lived in was named the Elizabethan era for her and lots of people still honour and praise her to this day.

So now you know that all good leaders are passionate, want the best for there group or people, can successfully convince people to follow them and listen to other people too. But, these are not all the things you have to do to be a great leader. There are lots more qualities that great leaders show, like they don't just want the best for the group- they do their best for the group. They also know what they are doing and they can keep calm in bad situations. They can also keep other people calm in bad situations, and can make good decisions under pressure because they think before they do.

There is a big difference between good and great, so when you have to lead someone or lead a group, strive to be a great leader and never give up.

How you can be a successful Leader?

• Be confident. Even though it might be hard because when you show confidence other people feel less scared and they will listen to you more.
• Make good decisions. If you make a bad decision it could not only effect your group but it could effect you, so slow down and think before you do.
• Try to always be fair. If you are not fair then people won't want to follow you. Don't favor someone over the rest of the group.
• Try to stick to your passions. When you stick to your passions and you end up having to lead something you can relate more to the people you are leading, therefore making it easier to lead.
• Listen to other people. When you don't listen you could miss out on a really good ideas, also when you don't listen to other people you make yourself look bad and selfish.
• Try to be as open as possible and get to know all the menbers in your group or the person you are working with.
