"Synthesis"
- Revisit the goals in Exercise 4 and develop a morphological chart to combine ideas for achieving desired goals or functions of the proposed design
- Morphological Chart
- The desired function of the project is to be able to accept a list of financial assets and output usable models, simulations, and analyses efficiently and accurately using quantum computing resources
- Ease of use of the software is an ideal characteristic as this opens up the software not only to institutional traders, but also to individual investors interested in securing their finances
- The technology, especially the coding languages used, will ideally be ones I am already familiar with. For the traditional methods, this will be Python or C++, both of which are commonly used in financial analysis. For the quantum analysis, QISKIT or Q# will need to be further learned in order to complete the project.
- Security is always a concern for financial applications, something I have seen first hand at Jefferies as a security information analyst. Precautions will have to be made for the software in order to ensure safety of information for client data
