[2021-05-10] Team completed the iRON project proposal site. Completed the following sections: Needs Assessment, Problem Formulation, Intellectual Properties, Ethics and Liability, and Failure and Hazard Analysis.
[2021-04-18] Completed Lesson 8 Labs. Met with group and professor Iyengar to discuss building a RON and fundamentals like Triangular Inequality Violation (TIV). The group created the iRON project google site and we organized some materials to learn Golang. I started the tutorials as well as looking back on a TCP chat server I made in Golang last semester.
[2021-03-28] Completed Lesson 6 Labs. Did some more planning with team on project proposal.
[2021-03-22] Set up Raspberry Pi Security Camera Livestream using "motion" and a USB webcam. I followed this tutorial (https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Make-Raspberry-Pi-Webcam-Server-and-Stream-/) and discovered that it does not address the issue of low framerate. I went through the motion conf file and changed "stream_maxrate" to higher than the default 1 fps and it worked. Now I can connect to my Raspberry Pi's IP address on any device and watch the live video feed if I am connected to my home network. I connected to watch the camera live with my Raspberry Pi, laptop computer, and iPhone. (Screenshots taken on 2021-05-10 for demonstration purposes.)

For our project our group and I decided to implement a Resilient Overlay Network to bypass normal internet routes and hopefully secure more stable connections between nodes.
[2021-02-28] Completed Lab 2 Parts A, B, C, D, and G. Started coming up with a design project proposal.
[2021-02-15] Completed Exercise 1 and Lab 1. Got my Raspberry Pi working and performed an SSH connection to the device.
[2021-02-08] Completed Exercise 0: Created Google Sites Website with Link to my CPE-322 GitHub Repo. Booted up my Raspberry Pi with Raspbian (plan change it to new OS).
