Our project seeks to provide customers with the ability to cheaply track items in real-time in 3D space.

• Amazon - Amazon has smart warehouses that could benefit from RTLS tracking system to optimize routes for products and employees.

• Walmart - Walmart loses $400 million to theft each year, RTLS can enhance loss prevention to mitigate losses.

• UPS -  An estimated 1.7 million packages are lost or stolen every day across the country. RTLS system can help to efficiently find packages.

Requirements

• Our solution shall be able to use any RAIN RFID tag

• Our solution shall be self-contained, and transmit data over IP

• Our solution shall use preexisting integrated components and wireless modules

• Our solution shall have an API and methods for exporting data for integrating with warehouse software

• Our solution shall process all data in-house

• Our solution shall have a minimum precision of 1 meter
