- A micro usb powered recording device that can record via a 1/4 in jack and save the files directly to the computer, no screen, no buttons, settings are configurable desktop app
Alternative 3:
- A battery powered device with a built-in recording microphone that can wirelessly transfer recordings to the computer (in the form of a smartphone app)
