Problem Statement
In America, 70% of adults report that they obtain insufficient sleep at least one night a month, and 11% report insufficient sleep every night. According to this study, up to $411 billion in economic losses arise from sleep deprivation yearly solely in the US. At a significant 2% of GDP, this equates to the military spending of many NATO countries. The goal of this project is to enhance the sleeping experience.

Situation Analysis: Since the regimentation of time prompted by the industrial revolution, chronic lack of sleep has been a pervasive problem in modern society. Today, 1 in 3 of American adults don’t get enough sleep. According to a study from 2017, up to $411 billion in economic losses arise from sleep deprivation in the US. Insufficient sleep is detrimental to physical, and psychological well-being, in addition to being an impediment to ideal productivity.
