Before being matriculated into this program, Jiajun was an undergraduate student at NYU Shanghai, majoring in Economics and minoring in both Social Science and Data Science.
As a data analyst, Jiajun is a self-paced and quick learner of the latest data processing tools. Jiajun has often been working on projects without previous experience, and he always delivers models and insights that are beyond the audience’s expectations.
Before enrollment into the MSDABC program, Jiajun was a freelance data analyst working for Emani, a data analytics and visualization start-up in London. His works include improving the existing Google Data Studio template for survey responses visualization, generating visualization reports for the Afghanistan peasants survey, and conducting sentiment analysis on qualitative survey responses.
If selected as the cohort leader, Jiajun Zheng will devote to both the student – faculty interaction and NYC – Shanghai student groups coordination. The latter responsibility is more important since only 4 students take in-person courses at NYU Washington Square.
I'm now in Shanghai, and I live very close to both campus. I would love to help my peers to find place to live and give them some advice on living in Shanghai.
I think I got strong communicative skills and I'm confident that I can organize the activities well.
