Campus mental health is all of our responsibility. The Wellness Exchange is NYU’s central resource for student health and mental health support, providing a 24/7 hotline (212-443-9999) staffed by professional counselors offering support, guidance, and connection to resources. It also offers walk-in counseling. One campus resource is the Moses Center for Students with Disabilities, helping students pursue any needed academic accommodations.
Unlike advising and other student affairs departments, the service provides HIPAA-protected private counseling support. Contact the Wellness Exchange to receive guidance for your students, share concerns, and collaborate on a plan to ensure the safety and support of students.
The Stern faculty is governed by NYU policies. NYU faculty policies are described in the NYU Faculty Handbook. In some cases, Stern maintains its own policies that go into greater detail regarding process or content.
