Adventure Week !
Dear Parents,
What an amazing adventure week! We had so much fun learning about Pirates and reading fun Pirate stories! We continued the fun on Thursday and dressed like a Pirate and looked for TK treasure. Thank you for having your child join in the fun. We also reviewed our letters, shapes, numbers and colors! We also did a fantastic job singing and signing the Hail Mary at the beginning of the May Crowning this morning. It is not a easy thing to get up in front of the whole school in church for an adult let alone a TKer. We are so very proud of everyone for being so brave!
We wish all our Mothers a Happy Mother's Day. We see the impact your make on your child everyday in our class. Thank you for your selfless love and attention you give your children. In TK, we discussed how much love mothers give (along with Mother Mary) and how we can show them love as well!
Field Day will be Tuesday, May 20th from 1:30-2:30...We are in need of at least 6 parent volunteers to help with our stations. If you are willing to donate your time, please contact your teacher to help out! Thank you! (We have Sammi Know and Tara Fordyce down so far as volunteers.)
May 21st is our TK Celebration of Learning. This is where your child will receive their TK Certificate as well as sing some of our songs that we have been doing in TK all year. (All are welcome to attend and it will be held in the school Dining Room starting at 2:15pm. ) Invitations for this event have also been sent home last week in folders. If you would like to make a donation to the cookie reception that will be held after the event please follow the link below.
