Kelley Coblentz Bautch, PhD, is Professor of Religious and Theological Studies at St. Edward’s University as well as Area Coordinator. Her research interests include the history and religions of Israel in the Persian, Hellenistic and Roman periods, pseudepigraphical and apocalyptic literature, and the interpretation of Scripture. Dr. Coblentz Bautch is an active member of the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL), the Catholic Biblical Association (CBA), and the Enoch Seminar. Her current leadership roles include serving as chair of the Program Committee for SBL’s Annual Meeting and as co-chair of the Research Support Committee for CBA. She is also immediate Past President of the Southwest Commission on Religious Studies and Theta Alpha Kappa, the National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology and served as Vice Director of the Enoch Seminar. Peers have recognized her scholarship, teaching and advising by means of juried awards.
