In the dynamic world of automotive art, few names shine as brightly as that of Lee Moran, a British painter whose captivating work has earned him a reputation as a true virtuoso of the genre. Born in 1972 in Manchester, Moran's artistic journey began at a young age, with a deep fascination for the power, grace, and mechanical artistry of automobiles.
Moran's early forays into the world of art were shaped by his studies at Tameside College, where he honed his skills in painting and sculpture, later expanding his expertise through design studies at Coventry University and the Royal College of Art in London. It was during this formative period that Moran began to cultivate his unique approach, blending his technical proficiency with a keen eye for abstraction and a profound understanding of the emotional resonance of the automotive experience.

Elena Klimova is a Russian artist based in Hong Kong. She studied Fine Art at Abramtsevo Art College in Russia, where she graduated in 2010. Working with different materials and techniques, Klimova strives to find and depict the beauty of everyday life. Moving to Hong Kong in 2011 had a significant impact on her art. Ever since she first relocated to the city, she has been studying local culture and traditions through drawing and painting different subjects connected with Hong Kong.
Long before I picked up chopsticks, I've picked up a pencil and a paintbrush.
Childhood was spent drawing, getting caught passing hand-drawn comic strips under classroom desks, painting in rain and sketching on the run.
Fast forward some years, I began sketching in my travels, capturing moments, food, and thoughts in places I stepped foot on. In 2020, as the world came to a standstill, I took to watercolor urban sketching in my hometown, and began uncovering unspoken stories in the most ordinary, familiar, yet easily overlooked places. Without realizing, I've embarked on a journey of 'rediscovering' Hong Kong, and in the process fostered a newfound appreciation for old shops and businesses.
Each painting tells of an extraordinary story, one that weaves into the rise of Hong Kong and the rich, intangible cultural heritage that makes Hong Kong so uniquely Hong Kong. Each one tells of a not-so-distant past and future, of a lifetime of devotion and resilience, and of the age-old struggle between progress and tradition, reality and ambition.
These are the true, unsung heroes of the home we call Hong Kong.
Join me in this journey as I prop myself down on my portable stool with sketchbook and brush, dodging traffic and mobs of pedestrians —one sketch at a time.

Having lived in Hong Kong and Asia for almost thirty years, artist Gail Deayton is interested in the interactions between culture, landscape and tradition in conjunction with line, form and movement. Her work moves between contemporary large-scale, to smaller delicate forms.
Deayton’s sculptures, drawings and prints have been bought for global private collections as well as for corporate entities in Hong Kong such as Amber Restaurant in the Landmark Mandarin Hotel, the St Regis Hotel, Shenzhen, and law firms Herbert- Smith- Freehills Kramer and DLA Piper.

I was one of the first people to take the new IBCP program in Hospitality and Culinary Arts. As I knew from the very beginning that I wasn’t good at academic writing, I have a great passion for food, particularly desserts and pastries. And so, with the full support of my family, I took the opportunity offered by the program to learn more about the culinary and hospitality world during my studies at the International Culinary Institute Hong Kong. After graduating from high school, I studied at the International Culinary Institute in Hong Kong for their High Diploma program in Baking and Pastry Arts, where I learned most of my pastry skills (up to 90%). The program was mainly practical, and you will know what it is like to work in a commercial kitchen, which later helped me a lot in my work and in building my future career. Then, after graduating from the International Culinary Institute in Hong Kong, I pursued a top-up degree in the UK. I attended University College Birmingham for their Bachelor of Science in Bakery and Patisserie Technology, where I gained a deeper understanding of food science and laboratory techniques. Lastly, I now work at the Hong Kong Jockey Club as a part-time member of the pastry kitchen staff. Furthermore, I will also talk more detail how decision-making and my unique path have shaped me. Make the most of your time in school, utilise your resources, and stay curious! Stay Passionate about what you like to do, as this will inspire you to keep going, no matter how arduous the journey is.

RHYS TURNER
Bosco Yeung is the Chief Creative Officer of AAL INNOVATION, a Hong Kong–based AI-driven architecture and design startup rethinking how the AEC industry communicates, visualizes, and understands design in the age of artificial intelligence. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from The University of Hong Kong, grounding his work in spatial thinking, architectural culture, and visual reasoning.
At AAL INNOVATION, Bosco leads the company’s creative and visual direction, with a strong focus on visual literacy as a critical skill in the AI era. He explores how AI can function not merely as a production tool, but as an active collaborator in shaping meaning, narrative, and perception. Through AI-assisted art direction, he develops distinctive visual languages that translate complex architectural and technological ideas into clear, emotionally resonant visual communication.
Bosco’s practice sits at the intersection of architecture, visual culture, and artificial intelligence, advocating for a future where designers engage AI as a medium for thinking and storytelling rather than automation alone. He has also been involved in the Urbanism • Architecture Bi-City Biennale (UABB), contributing to work that synthesizes technology, artificial intelligence, and architecture into a cohesive contemporary discourse.
