Meet Your adviser (ms. sullivan 2017-2019)

About Me

I am a 2017 graduate of Truman State University. While in college, I studied Sociology and English. In addition to my academics, I participated in Alpha Phi Omega - a co-ed service and leadership fraternity, I volunteered in the Women's Resource Center, and I wrote and worked with both the on campus newspaper and an independent literary magazine. While in school, I interned with the Office of Admissions and continued into the school year to work as a Admissions Tele-Counselor after my internship. Additionally, I worked in Enrichment and Youth Development at the Local YMCA over the summers and in the after-school program during the academic year. Something good to know is that I work for the Missouri College Advising Corps (MCAC) and am placed at St. Clair High for two years.

What is MCAC?

An MCAC adviser is an adviser that works in partner schools across Missouri to help foster and promote a college-going culture. I provide one-on-one advising with students AND parents, as well as help with financial aid, scholarships, applications, and more. Other nearby MCAC schools include Sullivan, St. James, Salem, and Potosi. MCAC is headquartered at the University of Missouri.
