I have been blessed to be a part of the St. Charles church and school family for many years.  My own children, now adults, graduated from St. Charles.  

I attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where I received degrees in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering.  After working in industry for several years, I returned to college, and received a Masters degree in Education from the University of Scranton (a fine Jesuit university in northeastern Pennsylvania).  My experience and education allows me to bring real world information to the students, so that they can have a better picture of where they may use some of the things that they are learning, and why they are important. 

 I have been teaching for over 25 years, and am starting my 19th year at St. Charles.  I am looking forward to sharing my passion for science with the 6th, 7th & 8th grades this year.
