Think of this session as a Highlights magazine “Find the Difference.”  Participants will learn how to spot bias or obstacles to equity in learning in the assignments and assessments that students are asked to complete.  Attendees will be placed into groups and will be given a variety of example assignments including projects, multiple choice questions, and writing prompts that do not follow best practices and the groups will identify, improve the assignment, and share their findings.


Presenter:

Richard Greco (pronouns he/him), Dean of Liberal and Professional Studies, holds an AA from STCC, a BS in Biochemistry and a BS in Human Biology from American International College, and an MS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Saint Joseph. He is pursuing a doctorate in public administration at West Chester University.
