We all learn differently and if you are teaching in Early College or looking for practical ideas to reach all your students, this workshop could be for you.
On May 14, 2024, from 9am to 3pm, we are very fortunate to have Dr. Adam Lalor, Vice President, Neurodiversity Research and Innovation from Landmark College who will be here to lead a day-long workshop entitled: Our Neurodivergent [ND] World: Practical Applications of ND Concepts in the Classroom.
Landmark College is a global leader in integrated teaching methods for students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and those who are challenged with executive functioning and cognitive overload.

The workshop's objectives will include:
An overview of neurodiversity versus neurodivergence, as well as their manifestation in the classroom.
The intersection of the COVID Pandemic and neurodivergence.
An overview of the intersection between these concepts and IEPs, 504 plans, and higher education institutional obligations.
Strategies overview with dedicated time for experiential application.
Hands-on application of strategies through the editing of an existing personal syllabus and/or course assignment.
