Seeing art online or in artists' books is great, but nothing beats seeing works of art full-sized and in person. Visiting museums is a perfect way to do this. And it doesn't have to be expensive!

Many museums offer free or discounted admission to military personnel and veterans (with ID), and to teachers (with ID). Contact the museum you're interested in visiting to learn more.
Massachusetts residents who receive Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) benefits can get free or discounted admission by showing your EBT card at many different museums and other cultural venues, through a program called Card to Culture.
