The Pollinator Garden

Pollinator Garden

This Indiana Native Pollinator Garden was one of Outdoor Lab Project. We started with only several native plants

A pollinator garden is a garden that has certain plants in it that attract pollinating animals. Pollinating animals have decreased steadily in the past 10 years, the Honeybee population has decreased 50% in the past 10 years, the ionic monarch butterfly population has decreased 90% in the past 20 years. A big issue with the decrease of pollinating animals is that animals do not have a habitat or shelter to live in, they also lack the food they need to survive so all pollinating gardens help provide a home and food for pollinating animals.
