Week of September 7, 2026
We had a great first 2 days welcoming our new 5th graders and are looking forward to learning more about each other this week.
Our class gym day is Monday (so because of Labor Day - no gym uniforms this week).
We will begin sharing our summer projects on Wonder this week, so please make sure to send in your project this week. We will practice classroom expectations this week and learning new routines.

Review the Student Handbook fully - with your student! All students should understand our school rules involving work expectations, safety, uniforms, and technology.
After reading the handbook, remember to print and sign the form here:
Check the Summer Supplies and Summer Reading Tab on my website or Mrs. DePalma's to make sure you are prepared. Not all supplies need to come in on the first day. We understand that it is a lot to bring in - spread it out over a few days.
Have clear contact paper ready to cover workbooks at home. We will send them home slowly over the first week or two of school. Clear contact helps to keep all workbooks neat and intact for the entire school year.
