Week of November 24, 2025
It was so nice meeting so many of you and discussing your children's progress in 5th grade. This is a very short week as we prepare for the Thanksgiving and Advent seasons! It is a wonderful time of the year and will be busy as usual.
In class we are preparing to celebrate Christmas and that means putting the focus on Christ. Your child will be assigned an ornament for our Jesse Tree Project, which will be due on December 2nd. This week we will learn how to read from the Bible both printed and online to complete this project. Looking ahead - our 5th grade class (both mine and Mrs. DePalma's) will be hosting Mass together on Thursday, December 11th for the Feast of our Lady of Guadalupe. This is a change to our normal Mass schedule due to the Christmas Show on December 12th.
As we get in to the Christmas season, there are many ways for your family to get involved! On Sunday November 30, the parish is hosting an Advent wreath making after the 10:00 Mass. Also, beginning on December 1, Miss Bianchino's Class is hosting our annual toy drive in memory of Ariella Hopkins. Please consider supporting these Christmas activities.
Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving with your families!
God Bless You!
