Mrs. Rosemary Rodriguez
Welcome to St. Bartholomew School! My name is Mrs. Rodriguez, and I am so excited to be your preschool teacher. After more than 23 years of teaching preschool, I continue to feel incredibly blessed to share in the joy, wonder, and excitement that comes with teaching young children. I am looking forward to meeting each of you and beginning a wonderful year filled with learning, growing, playing, and making special memories together.
Our school is a very special place where we learn to love, learn, serve, and care for one another while following the teachings of Jesus Christ. In our classroom, we will learn not only with our minds, but also with our hearts. We will practice kindness, patience, sharing, helping our friends, and treating everyone with love and respect.
Preschool is the beginning of an exciting educational journey! Together, we will explore letters and numbers, stories and books, art, science, nature, and so much more. We will ask questions, make discoveries, use our imaginations, and learn through hands-on activities and purposeful play. Like the older students, Pre-k 4 will also participate in weekly classes such as Art, Music, Spanish, Library, and Physical Education. There is also plenty of time to build friendships and have fun during special moments on the playground.
I believe that every child is capable, curious, and eager to learn, and I look forward to helping each child discover their own unique strengths and abilities.
Most importantly, I want our classroom to be a fun, happy, safe, and loving place where every child knows that they are special, valued, and loved. I can't wait to see your smiles, hear your stories, celebrate your accomplishments, and watch you become more confident, independent, and caring each day.
Throughout the year, we will learn what it means to be good friends, good helpers, and good members of our St. Bartholomew School family. We will pray together, learn about God's love, and discover the many ways we can share that love with others through our words, our choices, and our actions.
To our families, thank you for trusting me with such an important part of your child's journey. Together, we can create a strong foundation that encourages your child to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
I hope you are ready for a year filled with friendship, faith, discovery, laughter, creativity, independence, and lots of learning! I am so excited for all that this new school year will bring and for the wonderful memories we will create together.
With warmest wishes and God's blessings,
Mrs. Rodriguez
