Artful Reflections is a writing contest which offers SCS students and teachers an opportunity to write an original piece of poetry or prose inspired by artwork created by SCS students and teachers.

During the fall semester art teachers at each SCS school selected pieces from their students' work, as well as contributing their own work, to create the pop-up Artful Reflections Exhibition at Shelburne Middle School. The exhibition will be open December 1 - 10 during the school day.  An evening reception will take place on Thursday, December 4, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

All of the pieces displayed in the pop-up exhibit and the  Online Gallery were selected to be apart of the Artful Reflections Writing Contest. Students and staff members can select one piece of artwork which inspires them and write an original piece of poetry or prose to enter the Artful Reflections contest.
