In 2022 the URM Program experienced unprecedented growth. First, in increasing placement options for Unaccompanied Youth and next for the Unaccompanied Afghan Children who are Afghan Humanitarian Evacuees. The URM Program has expanded from 50 youth in programming, to over 100; and from one Child Provider Agency to five.
The purpose of this training series is to 1) provide updated training for new and ongoing staff members in the URM Program across Colorado including local, state, and federal partners, and 2) develop an internal social network of colleagues who can work together to solve some of the toughest challenges in child welfare today.
