Trails aligns with the CDHS & OIT AI policy. In short, the only approved AI is Google Gemini, and only through the OIT administered accounts. The concern, obviously, is that we don't want to expose the PII of clients (names, addresses, DOBs, incident details, etc) by using AI tools not vetted by OIT. CDHS, and the Trails team inside of the Department, are in full agreement with this policy and discourage use of AI tools unless it is an OIT administered Google account with Gemini enabled.
