The Governor's Office of State Planning and Budgeting (OSPB) has completed reports on the adult criminal justice, juvenile justice, child welfare, behavioral health, prevention, and health policy areas.

Complete Reports
Health
OSPB is pleased to present findings in the health policy area, the newest policy area included in the Results First model, including program information and benefit analyses as they relate to the following topics: Emergency Department Visits; Hospital Re-admissions; Maternal Health; Obesity Patient-Centered Medical Homes; and, Type 2 Diabetes.
The "Health Findings" report provides a general overview of the team's findings. The department-specific program overviews and inventories showcase the health programs operational throughout Colorado and their level of research. The "Evidence-Based Health Programs Inventory Overview" and "Evidence-Based Health Programs Inventory of Program with Rigorous Research" showcase which national health programs have a rigorous research base and indicate which programs are operational in Colorado.
Prevention
OSPB has compiled a list of prevention programs operational throughout Colorado in FY 2015-16, assessed their level of evidence, and completed benefit-cost analyses of evidence-based state funded programs. The list of state programs, their level of evidence, and the benefit-cost results are included below in the Prevention Findings report.
Behavioral Health
OSPB completed benefit-cost analyses of evidence-based state funded programs in the policy area of behavioral health in 2016. These analyses are included below in the Behavioral Health Results Guide. Additionally, OSPB compiled a list of behavioral health programs operational throughout Colorado in FY 2014-15 and assessed their level of evidence. This list of state programs is included below in the Behavioral Health Program Inventory.
Adult Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, and Child Welfare
OSPB completed benefit-cost analyses of evidence-based state funded programs in the policy areas of adult criminal justice, juvenile justice, and child welfare in 2015. These analyses are included below in the Results Guide. Additionally, OSPB compiled a list of adult criminal justice, juvenile justice, and child welfare programs operational throughout Colorado in FY 2014-15 and assessed their level of evidence. The list of state programs are included below in separate program inventories for each policy area.
Methodology Documentation
Information about how the model operates and the state-specific data used in the model are included in the reports below. The first report includes the model documentation that pertains to the adult criminal justice, juvenile justice and child welfare policy areas. The second report includes the model documentation that pertains to the behavioral health policy area.
