Results First leverages the best available research on programs that demonstrates their effects and pairs this with state-specific population and cost data to estimate the costs and potential benefits of programs.

OSPB works with state departments, the Judicial Branch, and counties throughout Colorado to identify programs that are operating throughout the state and gathers data for the model. This collaborative approach ensures that the best available data is used.

Once the model has been run, the team completes reports for Colorado's Governor, the Colorado State Legislature, and the general public. These reports are available to help policymakers and decision-makers compare programs among policy areas to better target future resources; helping to connect Coloradans to the best services.
