Welcome to the Colorado Center of Excellence in Newcomer Health

We are one of two centers established by support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Our goal is to create a surveillance network to identify and respond to the changing landscape of newcomer health in near real-time, empowering end-users to spend more time asking questions of their data and less time cleaning and managing it.

Our primary focus is on conditions of public health importance (including, but not limited to, tuberculosis, hepatitis, HIV and parasites) and the prevention and treatment of those conditions (immunizations, presumptive treatments, and domestic and overseas screenings). Our secondary focus is on the long-term health and wellness of newcomers.
