January 2026 Quarterly OASIS Q&As 

On January 20, 2026, CMS announced that it would not publish Home Health Quarterly OASIS Q&A for January 2026 because there had been no helpdesk questions that necessitated broad dissemination. The CMS announcement stated: “If providers encounter uncertainties in coding or guidance interpretation that cannot be answered with existing published guidance, CMS encourages providers to submit them to the Home Health Quality Help Desk (homehealthqualityquestions@cms.hhs.gov). Provider questions are one of the sources of future clarifications and updates that are ultimately released in updated guidance from CMS.”
