CMS Releases Calendar Year 2025 Home Health Prospective Payment System Proposed Rule
On June 26th, 2024, CMS released the calendar year (CY) 2025 Home Health Prospective Payment System (HH PPS) Rate Update proposed rule, which updates Medicare payment policies and rates for home health agencies. In addition, there are proposed changes to the wage index, updates to data collection and reporting, conditions of participation, provider enrollment, and more. Details can be found in the fact sheet. The proposed rule is posted to the Federal Register with comments due August 26, 2024.
CMS is offering this web-based training course providing an overview of key updates to the post-acute care (PAC) Quality Reporting Programs (QRPs) for Fiscal Year (FY)/Calendar Year (CY) 2025. The training discusses new, removed, and revised quality measures (QMs). Timelines for public reporting and an overview of measure specifications are provided.
