Updated: Hospice Regulation Set: HOSPICE (FED - L - 5.01)

The Hospice regulation set has been updated to account for minimal changes to specific tags, outlined below:

L581- Removed Interpretive guidelines

Added regulatory text:

L599 - “§418.66 Condition of participation: Nursing services -- Waiver of requirement that substantially all nursing services be routinely provided directly by a hospice”

-There is no interpretive guidance

L605 - “§418.74 Waiver of requirement - Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, and dietary counseling.”

-There is no interpretive guidance

L650 - Updated regulatory text: “§418.100(a) Standard: Serving the hospice patient and family. The hospice must provide hospice care that- (1) Optimizes comfort and dignity; and Is consistent with patient and family needs and goals, with patient needs and goals as priority.” 

-There is no interpretive guidance

L719-758 - Removed
