In the Division's Spotlight
The Division of Real Estate and the Colorado Real Estate Commission, working in conjunction with the Forms Committee, have adopted and finalized the 2019 mandatory contracts and forms. As we approach the license renewal season, there are two compliance items that you need to remember in order to keep practicing into the new year.
Throughout the year each program at the Division of Real Estate goes through rule changes, application reviews, renewals and other related activities affecting both licensees and the consumer.
Mediation, as many may know, is a confidential process which provides the opportunity for the parties to a dispute or legal action to work with a third-party neutral mediator to resolve the issues.
This quarter we discuss a particularly sensitive compliance matter, criminal convictions; and our Community Association Management investigators break down conflicts of interest, segregation of funds and manager availability.
