Enter RPRTLST into the Global Search field and choose Report Listing.
1. Once here, you’ll see recent reports, and then you can navigate to your desired folder to access reports.
Click on the report that you would like to run.
Note: Analytics will have a purple icon to the left of the Report Name
2. Input any required parameters for the report by using the search function.
Select Apply All Parameters and Run Report
3. Your report will be generated. The navigation buttons below the report title allow you to view reporting options, parameters, and the cover page.
4. To export, go to the analytic visualization you want to download. Hover over it. Then, click the 3-dot menu at the top right.
Select More Options
5. Select Export Data.
6. Review the onscreen explanations. Then, select your download preference and click Export.
Note: The Export feature will only Export one tab at a time. If you have multiple tabs that you'd like Exported, you will need to Export them separately.
When to Use the Filter Pane:
Primarily, users of Analytics in Power BI will restrict the data on reports using the parameters located on the Cover Page. These parameters cover most needs, offering date ranges or drop-down lists featuring search bars allowing users to select values. However, in some instances, report users may need additional functionality, such as the ability to search for data that begins with, contains, or is greater than/less than a specific value. In these cases, or many others, the parameters on the cover page will not be able to meet the requirements of the report users. Instead, users will need to familiarize themselves with the Filter Pane and the fields it contains.
